For the destination to maintain its position of excellence, it needs to put in place analytical tools to measure client satisfaction and evaluate the relevance of its actions.
Existing tools (such as satisfaction surveys in tourist offices) will be made better use of and new ways of measuring client and member partner satisfaction will be put in place.
The Occitanie region, which now comprises 13 departments (Ariège, Aude, Aveyron, Gard, Haute-Garonne, Gers, Hérault, Lot, Lozère, Haute-Pyrénées, Pyrénées-Orientales, Tarn and Tarn-et-Garonne) has just launched a survey to measure the profile, satisfaction and expenditure of its tourists.
The survey covers a one-year period from spring 1918 to spring 1919 and its objectives are as follows:
Help to know more about the region’s tourists
Obtain information for each department as well as each branch of tourism
Obtain new and exclusive information about the tourist clientele in order to define strategies for promoting and developing tourism in the various territories.
The prizes are as follows:
1st prize: A cozy stay in the Ariège at a luxury hotel with spa and hammam (worth 330€)
2nd prize: A weekend in a luxury gîte, (in a château) for a family in the Aveyron (worth 590€)
3rd prize: A stay in the Camargue (in the Gard department, worth 250€)
4th prize: A stay in a caravan in the Gers (worth 502€)
5th prize: A week in a charming village in the Lot (worth 450€)
6th prize: A well-being stay in the Hautes-Pyrénées (worth 500€)
7th prize: A wilderness stay in Catalan country (Pyrénées-Orientales) ( worth 500€)
8th prize: A stay in the vineyards of Gaillac (Tarn) (worth 200€)
9th prize: A stay in a charming gîte in the Tarn-et-Garonne (worth 480€)
10th prize: A stay in a charming hotel in the Haute Garonne (worth 480€)
